Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load-bearing wall in which horizontal displacement is allowed while maintaining a sufficient strength until achieving ultimate destruction, and a connection fitting used for the load-bearing wall.SOLUTION: Two braces 6, 7 are disposed in a frame body formed from a sill 2, a beam 5 and two posts 3, 4 which are erected on the sill 2 and support the beam. One end of each of the two braces is connected through a connection fitting 20 to an intermediate part of the first post 3. The two braces are connected with the second post 4 obliquely upward and obliquely downward from that connected part. The connection fitting is deformed to allow one end of each of the two braces and the first post to which that brace is connected, to be displaced relatively in an axial line direction of the first post. The connection fitting is formed by bending a steel plate and includes, between a post fixed part 21 fixed to the post and a brace fixed part 24 fixed to the brace, a folded part 22 which is folded and confronted with the post fixed part. |
