PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modifying agent for an adhesive, which enables an adhesive having excellent film formability and developing sufficiently high adhesion strength at low temperature and in a short time to be provided, and has a sufficient heat resistance.SOLUTION: The modifying agent for an adhesive contains a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit represented by formula (2). In the formula (1), R is a residue of a diamine or a diisocyanate, and a plurality of R may be identical or different in the same molecule; and m is an integer of 1 to 30. In the formula (2), R is a residue of a diamine or a diisocyanate, and a plurality of R may be identical or different in the same molecule; and m is an integer of 1 to 30.
