Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase types of information transmitted at a limited number of ports of MCU.SOLUTION: A motor driving circuit provided with a first port P1 to which a signal output by MCU300 is input comprises: a duty measuring circuit 100a that measures duty of the signal input via the first port P1 and outputs a duty information signal; a frequency measuring circuit 100b that measures a frequency of the input signal and outputs a frequency information signal in response to the measured frequency; a command speed calculating circuit 100c that, on the basis of one of either the duty information signal and the frequency information signal, calculates a rotational speed of a motor commanded by the MCU300 and outputs a rotational speed information signal containing information of the calculated rotational speed; and a motor driving waveform controlling circuit 100e for, on the basis of information obtained by the rotational speed information signal and the other of the duty information signal and the frequency information signal, generating a driving control signal that is a PWM signal for driving the motor at a commanded rotational speed.
