Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce components on a positive electrode side of a cylindrical secondary battery.SOLUTION: A battery lid unit 40, in which a battery lid 4 and a connection conductive plate 41 are integrated, is caulked at a peripheral edge of an opening 2b of a battery can 2. An annular protrusion 42 having a recess 43 on a lower side is formed on the connection conductive plate 41, and plural openings 4a for exposing the protrusion 42 are formed on the battery lid 4. An upper end face 26 of a ring-shaped outer circumference cylindrical part 25c of a positive electrode collector member 25 welded to a positive electrode tab 16 is jointed to the connection conductive plate 41 in the recess 43 of the connection conductive plate 41 by laser welding. Welding laser is radiated to a center part 42a of the protrusion 42 of the connection conductive plate 41 through the openings 4a of the battery lid 4.
