PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle roof device which can reduce man-hours for manufacturing a shoe member which operates to open and close a movable panel accompanied by the movement in a forward/backward direction of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A rear shoe 21 comprises: a resin body member 31 including a pair of sliding parts 32, 33 and a pedestal 34; and a steel plate member 41 including a base 42 placed on the pedestal 34 and a pair of fitting pieces 45, 46, 47, 48 inserted to both the sliding parts 32, 33 while being protruded to both sides in a vehicle width direction rather than the base. A distance L1 in the vehicle width direction between both the sliding parts 32, 33 is set longer than a length L2 which is obtained by totalizing a length of the base 42 in the vehicle width direction and protruding lengths of the fitting pieces 47, 48 in the vehicle width direction, and set shorter than a length L3 which is obtained by totalizing the length of the base 42 in the vehicle width direction and protruding lengths of the fitting pieces 45, 46, 47, 48 in the vehicle width direction. Furthermore, a lock hole 49 formed at the base 42, and a lock projection 35 formed at the pedestal 34 and inserted into the lock hole 49, are formed.
