Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a handover procedure even if a base station device from which a mobile terminal device moves has stopped due to a blackout or a failure.SOLUTION: There is provided a communication method comprising the steps of: causing a mobile terminal device to perform communications with a first base station device; causing the mobile terminal device to detect a failure when the failure occurs in the first base station device; causing the mobile terminal device to start a handover procedure; and causing the mobile terminal device to perform connection with a second base station device.
