Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave-power device which converts wave motion energy of wavefront to electric energy with high efficiency.SOLUTION: An anchor is adopted as a pile. Both ends of a chain are fixed to the pile and a floating body, with the chain being sealed and covered with a tube filled with air. A suction tube having one end connected to the pile to communicate with the inside thereof and the other end fixed to the floating body and exposed onto the water surface is disposed to extend through the tube. The other end of an air supply tube having one end connected to an upper part of the tube to communicate therewith is fixed to the floating body and exposed. The wave-power device is improved in this way, whereby the dead weight of the chain is reduced to prevent the chain from obstructing the upward movement of the floating body by wave motions, and the vertical moving amount of the floating body can be increased more than in a conventional resonance type wave-power device. Since the anchor can be more easily installed and disassembled than in the past, the movement of the resonance type wave-power device can be facilitated.
