Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the type of image data at the stage before the image data is displayed.SOLUTION: The image reproducer comprises a memory card which can store a plurality of image data, image data selection units (S02, S15) which select one of the plurality of image data stored, a type determination unit (S04) which determines the type of image data thus selected, a pattern determination unit (S05) which determines a pattern associated with the type thus determined out of a plurality of patterns the display mode of which changes, and a switching display unit (S06) which displays the selected image data or the image data related thereto while changing the display mode according to the pattern thus determined, in a period immediately before displaying the selected image data.
