Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a connection part to be easily inserted into a through hole for connection without impairing a function of a stopper part in a portable terminal.SOLUTION: An opening for terminal connection 10, opening so as to correspond to a terminal for external connection 12, is provided at a second housing 5 (housing) of a portable telephone 1 (portable terminal). A connection part 16, formed by an elastic member and provided with a hook like stopper part 15 at a tip, is provided at a terminal cover 14 covering the opening for the terminal connection 10 from the outer side. A through hole for connection 18, into which the stopper part 15 is inserted, is provided at a periphery of the opening for the terminal connection 10. A notch 19 is formed at the through hole for the connection 18 for allowing a part of the stopper part 15, which is compressed and deformed when the stopper part 15 is press-fitted, to pass through.
