PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device configured in such a manner that an action by which the airbag is once pressed against a pillar trim at an initial stage of development is eliminated to allow the airbag to be quickly inflated and developed without a reduction in the speed of the development.SOLUTION: An airbag device includes: an airbag 10 in a folded state, mounted to the upper part of an inner wall of a vehicle interior along the front-rear direction of the vehicle; and an inflator for inflating and developing the airbag downward relative to the vehicle. The airbag 10 has: a roll-folded part 10R roll-folded from the one end side which is located on the side opposite to the mounting side; and a bellows-folded part 10J continuing to the roll-folded part 10R. The bellows-folded part 10J is formed by folding the roll-folded part 10R into two and then bellows-folding from the part where folded into two, with the width corresponding to the two folded width Lof the roll-folded part 10R, and the bellows-folded part 10J is folded in such a manner that it is located at a side of the roll-folded part 10R.
