Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved function for testing 2×2, 3×2 and 4×2 MIMO wireless devices.SOLUTION: Disclosed embodiments include a single vector signal generator (VSG) coupled to a device under test (DUT). The VSG is configured to transmit data packets as a first codeword and a second codeword. The VSG includes software and hardware architecture to manipulate the first codeword and the second codeword as emulated first and second waveforms. The first waveform is different from the second waveform. The DUT is configured to receive the emulated first and second waveforms as prescribed signals from the VSG. The prescribed signals include a first received signal and a second received signal. The DUT includes software and hardware architecture to manipulate the first received signal and the second received signal to generate block error rate results therefrom. |
