Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical channel monitor of polychromator system in which the resolution is enhanced without increasing the cost of manufacture.SOLUTION: The optical channel monitor optimizes the signal band detected by each photodetector, and performs power correction operation. Consequently, the power of signal light is detected accurately even in an environment of poor signal-to-noise ratio, and the noise component incident to a photodetector can be reduced at the time of no signal. As a result, the dynamic range can be enhanced in an optical channel monitor of polychromator system.
