Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock that can be manufactured at low costs without damaging a sealing property.SOLUTION: In a gas cock A, a downstream-side end of an inflow hole 12 is opened on an inner circumferential surface of an outflow hole 13, and a main valve element 2 for opening and closing an opening part 12a of the inflow hole 12 is provided in the outflow hole 13. The main valve element 2 is comprised of a body part 2A and a valve part 2B. On an outer circumferential surface of the body part 2A, a mounting part 24 is formed of which the cross section is circular. A metallic plate material having a fixed thickness is wound around the mounting part 24 while being deformed elastically, thereby constituting the valve part 2B. The outer circumferential surface of the valve part 2B is brought into press-contact with the inner circumferential surface of the outflow hole 13 by elasticity of the valve part 2B per se.
