Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting device for an automobile seat.SOLUTION: The adjusting device in an automotive field includes: a fixed guiding element (16); an adjusting element (18) disposed to be movable with respect to the fixed guiding element (16) and having a reference element (20); an EC motor (14) that drives the adjusting element (18) in an adjusting process (32); and a control unit including a control means for the EC motor (14). The adjusting process (32) is bounded by first and second end points (24, 26) each disposed to first and second capturing regions (28, 30). The adjusting device is provided with at least one mechanical end stopper (22) disposed outside the adjusting process (32).
