Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radial tire for an aircraft, which enhances durability and resistance to bending.SOLUTION: The radial tire 100 for the aircraft includes a radial carcass 20, a tread 18, and a crown reinforcing member. Characteristically, one or more belt layers 51 or strips, which is or are reinforced with a cord directed in a circumferential direction at an angle of 0-45° with respect to an equatorial plane EP of the tire 100, is or are provided, and the B/W ratio of the tire 100 is in the range of about 0.6 to about 0.7. In this case, B represents a width between wheel flanges, and W represents a section width under rated pressure. In addition, a B/BW ratio is in the range of 0.84 to about one. In this case, BW represents a maximum belt width.
