Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding method which can attain a welding bead with an equal appearance, regardless of variation of geometric quantity in a welded joint.SOLUTION: The arc welding method includes: a measurement step of measuring the geometric quantity of the welded joint at every measuring point on a plurality of measuring points within a range of a unified appearance along a welding line on a work (Step S1); a setting step of setting a welding condition such that appearance of the welding bead by arc welding over the range of the unified appearance is equalized, based on the measurement result of the geometric quantity (Step S2); and a welding step of performing the arc welding over the range of the unified appearance in accordance with the welding condition (Step S3).
