Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotors of an axial gap motor having light-weight, inexpensive and high productivity configuration and capable of surely holding rotor cores and resisting high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: In rotors 2a, 2b of an axial gap motor 1A, a plurality of rotor cores 11 are arranged in a peripheral direction, each rotor core 11 is held so as to be sandwiched from the outer diameter side and an inner diameter side by a holding plate 12, a high-intensity member 15 having flexibility is annularly arranged on the outer diameter side outer periphery of each rotor core 11, a displacement absorption part 12b for absorbing displacement in a radius direction is attached to a part of the holding plate 12 between respective rotor cores 11, and centrifugal force following the rotation of the rotors 2a, 2b is received by elastic deformation of the high-intensity member 15. In the elastic deformation of the high-intensity member 15 expanded in an outer-diameter direction, the displacement absorption part 12b of the holding plate 12 is expanded/contracted to absorb displacement in the radius direction.
