Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan that reduces a load to a switch, and to reduce collision noise generated when closing a shutter.SOLUTION: The ventilation fan includes a ventilation fan frame opened in an indoor side and an outdoor side; a plurality of shutters 3 each having a planar flat part 3e, a hole 3c for suspending the flat part 3e and turnably journalled to a ventilation fan body in one point to close an outdoor side opening of the ventilation fan frame, and an arm part 3a transmitting control force of lifting the flat part 3e to an outdoor side and opening the outdoor side opening of the ventilation fan frame to an opposite side of the flat part 3e with respect to the hole 3c; and a connecting rod transmitting the control force to each arm part 3a of the plurality of shutters 3 and rotating each of the plurality of shutters 3 such that the flat parts 3e of the plurality of shutters 3 are lifted to outdoor sides all at once. In each of the plurality of shutters 3, a part of the flat part 3e moves inward across a vertical line passing the hole 3c such that a center of gravity is positioned below the hole 3c in a suspended state of the flat part 3e.
