PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker which can efficiently use a steam generation heater as a heat source, in the heating cooker using both the steam generation heater and a heating heater to perform heating cooking.SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes a steam generation device 20 having the steam generation heater 21 for heating water to generate steam, a heating chamber receiving the steam from the steam generation device 20, an upper heater 14 and a lower heater 17 for heating an object to be heated in the heating chamber, and a control device 100. The control device 100 includes a heating heater control means 100a for controlling the upper heater 14 and the lower heater 17 so as to raise a temperature in the heating chamber up to a target temperature, and a steam generation heater control means 100b for controlling the steam generation heater 21 so as not to turn on the steam generation heater 21 when the upper heater 14 and the lower heater 17 are turned on, and so as to turn on the steam generation heater 21 when the upper heater 14 and the lower heater 17 are turned off.
