PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow attachment/removal of members including a deck base, a skirt guard, an inner side deck and a molding to and from each other in a relatively short period of time.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyer, such as an escalator, has: an upper molding 6 and a lower molding 7 protruding in a step direction; a molding-fixing member 5 for restricting an upward movement of the upper molding 6 and downward movement of the lower molding 7; a molding-fixing washer 8 housed in a space between the upper molding 6 and the lower molding 7, engageable with the upper molding 6 and the lower molding 7, and inserted into a square hole 5c of the molding-fixing member 5; and further a molding-fixing screw 9 housed in the space between the upper molding 6 and the lower molding 7 and inserted into a screw hole 8a of the molding-fixing washer 8, while collectively and integrally fixing the deck base 1, the skirt guard 2, the inner deck 4, the molding-fixing member 5, the upper molding 6 and the lower molding 7.
