Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impairment of airtightness in a battery container due to waving occurred by swaging a battery lid and a lid member integrally.SOLUTION: A plurality of notches 55 are formed along an edge 52 on an upper end 51 that is bent toward an axis core side of a battery can 2. When the upper end 51 of the battery can 2 and a lid member 30 are swaged via a gasket 43, the upper end 51 of the battery can 2 is deformed so that a portion on an edge side of the notch 55 becomes narrow. As a result, the waving on the upper end 51 of the battery can 2 bent toward the axis core side is absorbed and the airtightness of the battery container is secured. |
