Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system in which a circulating current is suppressed.SOLUTION: A battery system includes a first battery (10) and a second battery (20) which are electrically connected in parallel to each other and perform charge/discharge. The first battery can charge and discharge with a larger current than that of the second battery, and the second battery has a larger power storage capacity than that of the first battery. The lower limit value of an open circuit voltage in charge/discharge control of the second battery is equal to or higher than a reference value of the open circuit voltage in the charge/discharge control of the first voltage.
