Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device in which: an onsite user has a selection to see a list of recommendations and sends a reply message to an offsite user to tell what he/she does; and the offsite user collaborates with the onsite user to make a decision using more information.SOLUTION: The offsite device of an offsite user is a handheld device such as a smartphone and the onsite device of an onsite user is a TV that is generally stationary. The onsite device receives context information from the offsite device, in which the offsite user is asking the onsite user for help associated with information search or decision-making. The offsite device may not have the full range of services and data that the onsite device has and collaborates with the onsite device/user in making a decision. The onsite device receives the specific physical and user-created context information, and obtains a list of recommendations from Web services. |
