Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent optical films opposite to each other from adhering to each other.SOLUTION: An optical filter includes: a first substrate 20; a second substrate 30 opposite to the first substrate 20; a first optical film 40 provided on the first substrate 20; and a second optical film 50 that is provided on the second substrate 30 and is opposite to the first optical film 40. The first optical film 40 has reflection characteristics and transmission characteristics with respect to light of a desired wavelength band. A dielectric film 43 of an outermost surface of the first optical film 40 is formed so as to have a thickness greater than that of a light incident portion 43b through which light is made incident to the first optical film 40 at a peripheral end portion 43a of the first optical film 40.
