Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder storage container from which an RFID chip attached to an outer surface of the container can be easily separated with excellent work efficiency, at the time of recycle processing or the like.SOLUTION: The powder storage container includes: a plate-shaped second chip holding part 81 provided in a notch 82 formed on an end peripheral surface opened on one end side of a body member 32Y2' so that a tip side of the end peripheral surface side has flexibility; and a first chip holding part 80 formed to be protruded on both sides of the notch 82 so as to be substantially in contact with or adjacent to at least top faces on both sides of the second chip holding part 81 along a longitudinal direction of the body member 32Y2'. By pressing a press down part 81b of the tip side of the second chip holding part 81 and bending the same, an RFID chip 32Y1f is inserted into between the second chip holding part 81 and the first chip holding part 80 and held in a recessed installation part 81c.
