Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing system for reducing a data amount to be generated by ADC, and reducing a load concerning storage and management of data while attaining high time resolution.SOLUTION: In a signal processing system of an embodiment, at least one analog-to-digital converter converts an analog signal into a digital signal including a plurality of samples with predetermined resolution. A trigger detection part detects whether or not a trigger condition is satisfied by analyzing the digital signal. An event detection part detects an event on the basis of trigger information, and when the event is detected, generates event information including time information. A decimation part defines one or more time windows on the basis of time information included in the event information, performs decimation to the digital signal on the basis of the one or more defined time windows, and generates the decimated signal. An output part outputs the decimated signal.
