Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic shovel which can achieve cost reduction by decreasing the number of components of a machine body hoisting structure.SOLUTION: A hanging metal fitting 32 provided with a through-hole 34 to connect a hoisting wire rope 65 via a hanging clamp 61 is formed integrally with a boss part 31 for connecting a pin projecting laterally at a lengthwise intermediate portion of a boom 16 with a boom cylinder 30 for raising/bringing down the boom. The hanging metal fitting 32 is formed integrally with the boss part 31 by casting or the like. Consequently, the number of components can be decreased. Cost can be also reduced because there is no change in other components other than integrating the hanging metal fitting 32 with the boss part 31.
