Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort retrieval data in accordance with a shape category of a photographed flower to reduce a processing load on similar image retrieval.SOLUTION: A game device includes a CPU. The CPU starts two outer cameras to allow a user to image a flower in a mode for looking up a flower from a photographed image. The CPU obtains the color information, shape information and size of the imaged flower from the photographed image. A shape category is obtained from the shape information to sort retrieval data included in a retrieval database. The information of the flower is compared with applicable retrieval data so that a score including an approximation degree of the color information and a matching degree of the shape information and size is obtained. Images of flowers are presented as candidates in ascending order of the score (similarity).
