Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can be reduced in size in an apparatus body and eliminate generation of contamination on images without a cost increase.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a transfer roller 106 rotating while being in contact with a photosensitive drum 101; a transfer voltage power source 11 for applying transfer voltage to the transfer roller 106 to electrostatically transfer a toner image carried on the photosensitive drum 101 to a recording material 2; a fixing device 107 for fixing the toner image transferred on the recording material 2; and a refeeding path 301 for refeeding the recording material 2 fixed with the toner image thereon between the photosensitive drum 101 and the transfer roller 106 by turning over the recording material 2. A refeeding roller 201 for conveying the recording material 2 in the refeeding path 301 is disposed oppositely to the transfer roller 106 to be brought into pressure contact therewith.
