Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performing character input rapidly by using a touch panel.SOLUTION: Portable electronic equipment includes; a housing; a touch panel that is disposed with a surface exposed on the housing and detects operation performed on the surface; and a control unit that allocates a plurality of keys constituting a key board to respective positions of a first region on the touch panel, and when a touch is started at a first position in the first region, and a touch to move the touch to a second position is detected by the touch panel, displays an enlarged image in which a plurality of keys corresponding to the second position are enlarged in a second region on the touch panel different from the first region.
