PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that, when extension of another air conditioner is required after an air conditioner is installed, because of increase in a thermal load of an air conditioning target space or the like, sometimes extension of an air conditioner is difficult because of factors such as an insufficient withstand load of the base in an installation place of an outdoor unit, and that, after installing an air conditioner, environmental regulation values of noise, vibration and the like might be raised because of environmental changes such as increase in houses around the facilities where the outdoor unit is installed, and in this case, countermeasures such as installing a soundproof wall or moving the outdoor unit are required.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a refrigerant circuit configured by connecting an outdoor unit including a compressor, an accumulator, an outdoor heat exchanger and others, and an indoor unit including an expansion device, an indoor heat exchanger and others, with refrigerant piping. The compressor, the accumulator and others housed in the outdoor unit are integrally mounted on an underframe to constitute a compressor unit; and the compressor unit is detachably joined to an outdoor underframe of the outdoor unit.
