PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing a variation in valve-opening pressure.SOLUTION: A fuel injection device includes: a plunger pump for sucking, compressing and then delivering fuel; and an injection valve for injecting the fuel delivered from the plunger pump. The injection valve includes: a nozzle body with a nozzle; a valve body slidably provided in the nozzle body and opening and closing the nozzle; an elastic body one end of which is supported to a predetermined position of the nozzle body while the other end of which is supported on a side of the valve body, and which urges the valve body to close the nozzle; and a supporting part for supporting the elastic body so that the urging force of the elastic body is controlled to be a predetermined value during the closure of the nozzle.
