Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin case that can house a recording medium such as a CD or DVD and can lock the cover.SOLUTION: A lock plate 12 for locking the cover 3 is inserted and attached to a position not overlapped with a space region in which the recording medium such as DVD is housed. In a body 2 and the cover 3, engaging pieces 28a, 28b, 30a, and 30b are rising therefrom, and engaging grooves 29a, 29b, 31a, and 31b are formed. When the cover 3 is closed, the engaging pieces 28a and 28b rising from the body 2 that can be engaged with the engaging grooves 31a and 31b of the cover 3, so that the engaging pieces 30a and 30b rising from the cover 3 can be engaged with the engaging grooves 29a and 29b of the body 2.
