Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade body of rotary machine capable of effectively suppressing pressure loss, to provide a gas turbine provided with the blade body, and to provide a method for designing the blade body of rotary machine.SOLUTION: The blade bodies 20 are provided with: blade main bodies 25 each of which has a convex back surface 23 and a concave pressure surface 24 between the front edge 21 and the rear edge 22; and blade edge walls 26 with which the end parts of the blade main bodies 25 are connected, and are plurally arranged in the circumferential direction R, wherein the blade body 25 has a body part 251 and a blade thickening part 252 which is disposed between the body part 251 and the blade edge wall 26 and is formed such that the thickness of the blade is thickened to the pressure surface 24 side all over from the front edge 21 to the rear edge 22 as compared with the body part 251, and a blade thickening part pressure surface 242 of the blade thickening part 252 is formed in such a smooth concave curve shape as to respectively continue to a body part pressure surface 241 of the body part 251 on the cross-section vertical to the direction along a blade chord and to the surface of the blade edge wall 26 and, at the same time, is formed in such a smooth concave curve shape as to continue to the front edge 21 and the rear edge 22 on the cross-section vertical to the blade height direction.
