Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a subject placed on a base surface is photographed from above, a photographed state significantly changes depending on a surrounding environment even in the case of the same subject.SOLUTION: A camera unit photographs, on a base surface, a subject on the base surface. An external light detection unit detects a state of external light on the base surface, and an external light calculation unit calculates an adjustment value for reducing an influence on a result of photographing on the base surface by the camera unit based on a result of detection by the external light detection unit. Then, an external light removal processing unit reflects the adjustment value in an image obtained by causing the camera unit to photograph the subject on the base surface to apply processing for reducing an influence of external light, and the image processed by the external light removal processing unit is output.
