Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of performing installation of a bulb easily even in a narrow working space.SOLUTION: When a socket 20 installed with a bulb 10 to become a light source is engaged with a holder 40, a projection member 23 is pushed to a sidewall of the holder 40 to allow engagement of the socket 20, and when engagement is completed, the projection member 23 is projected into a hole part 41 of the holder 40 from the outside of the engagement part 21 of the socket 20. Thereafter, when a connector 50 is engaged with the engagement part 21, the projection member 23 is prevented by the connector 50 from projecting into the inner face side of the engagement part 21.
