Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive member for an electrophotographic device that reduces stress against toner to form uniform roughness on the surface thereof, and has excellent surface characteristics in the early stage and after the long period of use to provide excellent images.SOLUTION: A conductive member 1 for an electrophotographic device includes a base material layer 3 having conductivity, and a surface layer 4 that contains roughness forming particles and a binder resin and is formed on the surface side of the base material layer. Each roughness forming particle is a silica-coated polyurethane urea particle formed by attaching silica fine particles on the surface of a polyurethane urea particle that is formed of a polyisocyanate component, a polyol component, and a bifunctional amine component, and has glass-transition temperature of -50°C or less. |
