Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejection detection device capable of performing cleaning processing without needing a complicated structure for negative pressure generation, a liquid ejection device including the same, and a cleaning method for the same.SOLUTION: The ejection detection device related to one embodiment includes a detector, and an electric field generation mechanism. The detector is formed to be capable of being arranged oppositely to a head for ejecting liquid, and detects the ejection state of the liquid. The electric field generation mechanism is arranged in the detector, and adds an electrostatic force to the liquid in the head.
