Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traceability system capable of preventing information inputted to a system from being rewritten to inaccurate information.SOLUTION: The traceability system includes a controller 10 which outputs required information to a product manufacturing site and to which information to be recorded is inputted from product manufacturing sites 1-3. The product manufacturing site is sectioned into a plurality of layers (a site worker, a middle manager and a high-class manager, for instance) and connected to the controller 10. The controller 10 has a function of outputting a signal indicating the presence of non-approved (or non-registered) information to the layer to perform approval (or registration) in the case that the information to be inputted from the product manufacturing sites 1-3 to the controller 10 is not approved (or registered) in the respective layers.
