Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition which can impart an excellent combing property and ductility to damaged hair, and is excellent in durability.SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic composition contains: (a1) 5 to 80 wt.% of a polyorgano siloxane component (a) containing polyorgano siloxane which is modified by trimethylolpropane monopropyl ether, and whose viscosity (25°C) is 100 to 50,000 Pa s; (b) 0.5 to 50 wt.% of a surfactant; and (c) silicone emulsions containing water, respectively. The (a) polyorgano siloxane component may contain polyorgano siloxane which is modified by (a2) trimethylolpropane monopropyl ether together with the (a1) component, and whose viscosity (25°C) is 0.01 to 1 Pa s.
