Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and an information processing method capable of more accurately determining whether the operational state of home appliances is favorable.SOLUTION: A controller 100 includes a communication interface 105 for communicating with a plurality of home electrical appliances, a memory 101 for storing a plurality of correlations 101A concerning operations of the plurality of home electrical appliances, and a processor 110. The processor 110 receives a plurality of operations from each of the plurality of home electrical appliances via the communication interface 105, selects one correlation suitable for the plurality of received operations out of the plurality of correlations on the basis of the received plurality of operations, and outputs information for identifying a home electrical appliance which performs an operation different from those included in one correlation on the basis of the received plurality of operations and the selected one correlation.
