Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display in which optical path difference between external light and light from a backlight light source in a liquid crystal layer is substantially eliminated while simplifying a cell structure.SOLUTION: In the transflective liquid crystal display, a transparent ball spacer is provided as a spacer between a first substrate at the backlight light source side and a second substrate arrange at a front side while penetrating a pinhole in a first reflection layer from the first substrate. At positions respectively facing tips of the spacers, second reflection layers for reflecting light emitted from the tips of the ball spacers toward the first reflection layer is provided on an inner surface of the second substrate. |
