Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measurement well and the like capable of converging fluorescent light generated from a specimen in a simple structure and with extremely high efficiency.SOLUTION: A well 1 is composed of an optical fiber including a core 3 and a clad 5. As the optical fiber, e.g., a plastic fiber can be used. A hole 7 is provided on an end face that is a light irradiation side. The hole 7 is a portion where a specimen is put in. The hole 7 is formed in the core 3. Namely, a diameter of the hole 7 is smaller than that of the core 3. A reflection film 9 is provided in any other portion than the hole on the end face where the hole 7 is formed. The reflection film may be formed by vapor-depositing a substance such as silicon oxide, titanium oxide and niobium oxide. The end face opposed to a side where the hole 7 and the reflection film 9 are formed becomes a convergence plane 11 for converging light. |
