Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of maximally acquiring the ratio of phase information to the absorption information in a specimen in acquiring the phase image of the specimen by phase imaging.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray source; the dividing element, which has a plurality of apertures for dividing the diffused X rays emitted from the X-ray source into a plurality of X-rays and arranged between the X-ray source and the specimen; the detector arranged downstream of the specimen in the irradiation direction of X-ray beams in order to detect the X-ray beams by the diffused X-rays transmitted through the specimen to be refracted; and an operational processing means for operationally processing the information of the intensity change of the X-ray beams detected by the detector. When the distance between the X-ray source and the dividing element is set to L1 and the distance between the dividing element and the detector is set to L2, the value of L2/L1 is set to a range larger than 1.0 and below 2.4. |
