Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a high-quality graphene oxide nanoplate.SOLUTION: This method comprises two stages. In the first stage, an intermediate substance comprising a carbon nanofilament is obtained, wherein the carbon nanofilament has a structure in which a ribbon of a graphite material having a small number of graphene layers is wound spirally on the periphery along the main axis. In the second stage, the carbon nanofilament is thermally treated, to clean it, and to heighten its crystallinity, then subdivided by chemical etching by oxidation, to start cleavage, and to thereby obtain the graphene oxide nanoplate.
