PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fitting device capable of press-fitting a component to be press-fitted into a press-fitting hole so that bites are not caused between the press-fitting hole and the component to be press-fitted.SOLUTION: The press-fitting device 1 includes: a punch 2 pushing out the component 82 to be press-fitted; a rotary table 4 supporting a press-fitting workpiece 8; and a backup 5 receiving a pressing force by the punch 2 at a position located vertically below the punch 2. The press-fitting in the press-fitting device 1 is carried out as follows. A gap is formed between the press-fitting workpiece 8 and the backup 5, and the press-fitting workpiece 8 and the rotary table 4 are lowered toward the backup 5 with the component 82 to be press-fitted therebetween by the punch 2 when the component 82 to be press-fitted is press-fitted into the press-fitting hole 81 formed through the press-fitting workpiece 8, wherein the supporting state of the press-fitting workpiece 8 to the rotary table 4 is changed when the lower part of the formation position of the press-fitting hole 81 in the press-fitting workpiece 8 is brought into contact with the backup 5, and thereby the axial direction of the press-fitting hole 81 can be made coincident with the press-fitting direction of the component 82 to be press-fitted.
