Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouring tube in which direct sticking of splashes of a molten steel to the inner hole face can be prevented.SOLUTION: In the pouring tube 3 of pouring a molten steel from a ladle to a tundish 4, a protective pipe 5 for passing the molten steel into the inner hole of the pouring tube 3 is detachably arranged. The protective pipe 5 is formed by an AlO-SiObased ceramic fiber, and is arranged from the upper edge of the inner hole of the pouring tube 3 over the part directly above the molten steel face in the tundish 4.
