Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact feeding apparatus where a plurality of mechanisms are integrated into the apparatus.SOLUTION: The gastro-jejunal (G-J) feeding device includes a nutrition tube integrated with a gastro-jejunal body. The gastro-jejunal body includes a gastro-port, a jejunal port, and a balloon port. The integrated nutrition tube includes a proximal end and a distal end, and further includes a gastro lumen, a jejunal lumen and a balloon lumen. The proximal end is configured to be located outside the body of a patient. The distal end is configured to be inserted into the body of the patient, and includes a deformable part having a width larger than a diameter of a tubular part in a default shape. A capsule is configured to be disposed at the distal end to cover the deformable part to be deformable. The capsule is configured to dissolve in contact with body fluid. The deformable part is configured to return to the default shape when the capsule dissolves. |
