PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a control in a configuration management of an information apparatus.SOLUTION: A configuration management device 12 in accordance with one embodiment includes: a configuration information master table for retaining current configuration information related to an external device; a change information accepting section 28 that accepts change information representing a change content and a change timing of the device configuration from a user; an approval confirming section 32 that provides an approver's terminal with information for confirming whether or not to approve the change content and accepts information representing whether or not to approve the change content from the approver's terminal; and a change executing section 34 that, when reaching a change timing represented by the change information, on condition that it is approved by the approver, updates the configuration information retained in the configuration information master table 20 according to the change content represented by the change information.
