Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of solving the problems of a deterioration in 1,4-dioxane decomposition efficiency and an atmospheric discharge which have been conventional problems in the treatment for waste-water containing 1,4-dioxane which uses 1,4-dioxane decomposition bacteria.SOLUTION: The invention includes the first biological treatment tank 12 which is provided with the first aeration means 26, 28 for aerating waste-water, and also which has at least organic matter decomposition bacteria for biologically decomposing organic matter other than 1,4-dioxane and which brings the waste-water, while aerating, into contact with the organic matter decomposition bacteria, the second biological treatment tank 14 which is provided with the second aeration means 30, 32 for aerating primary treatment water, and also which has at least the 1,4-dioxane decomposition bacteria for decomposing 1,4-dioxane and which brings the primary treatment water, while aerating, into contact with the 1,4-dioxane decomposition bacteria, a recovering means 16 for recovering gas discharged from the waste-water by the aeration of the first biological treatment tank 12 and an introducing means 18 for introducing all or a part of recovered gas into the second biological treatment tank 14.
